My Name is Charlie Hitchcock; I have been at Wycliffe right from the start and have never looked back! I am currently in Year 10 and I am studying PE business science and German. Being at Wycliffe has without doubt been the best experience of my life. It has given me many opportunities and has helped shaped me into the person that I am today. It has also allowed me to progress both on the sport field and in the classroom. The one thing I think that stands out about Wycliffe over any other school, is the pupil staff relationship. It is a school where everyone is equal and most importantly everyone is happy. Wycliffe is a caring community where everyone knows each other and everyone is at ease. My parents took me to Wycliffe in search of an education; no one can imagine how much it has changed me, I have ended up with not only lifelong friendships but I feel have become part of an ever growing community. Wycliffe is not only a place of work; co-curricular activities also have a key role in the school. I think it is fair to say that you can also relax and play, thanks to the supporting environment within both Wards and the school as a whole. My favourite thing about Wycliffe has to be the massive influence of sport which lies deep within the heart of the school. With the ancient rivalry between the boys' houses, Wards and Robinson, there has been a number opportunities for me to use my talents in both football and athletics to represent my house and to help secure the sports day trophy!
