Wycliffe's award-winning programmes for Gifted and Talented education has been used as a model for schools and colleges throughout the country.

We are the only school in the UK to win the prestigious NACE Challenge Award across every one of the six stages of education - from pre-school right through to A level. We were also the first independent school in the country to collect the prize.

As part of their initial assessment on entry, all pupils are considered for the gifted and talented register. Parents and teachers are also invited to nominate pupils whose talent develops later. The register recognises the top students in academic, sport, drama, art, music and other performance disciplines.

The school then works to provide programmes of study designed to support these pupils to ensure that our most able children are stretched and challenged to achieve their full potential
