Pupil ProfileI first joined Wycliffe in the Nursery and later left at the end of Year 6. After a few tough years at another school, I found that Wycliffe was the only place where I could settle. In my opinion, its warm and welcoming family- like atmosphere cannot be found anywhere else.I am currently in Year 10 studying DT Graphics, Spanish, Geography and triple Science. My skills lie both in sport and on the academic front. My favourite subject is Science. Throughout my time here the staff have always been tremendously supportive of me. One of the things I love the most about Wycliffe has to be Collingwood, my house. It has enabled me to become part of a great community and being the only mixed house, has allowed me to make friends with people I may not otherwise have ever spoken to. Furthermore, being at Wycliffe has boosted my confidence massively and has definitely made me a happier person. Wycliffe has also enabled me to pursue my dream of playing polo, my favourite sport and thanks to the dedication of the staff I am able to play once a week, representing the school in matches. At Wycliffe there seems to be far less peer pressure than at many other schools. There is no arrogance and everyone is equal. Instead there are a range of great people of all abilities and backgrounds, and I have been made really welcome from the very start. One thing that I have noticed about Wycliffe over the years is just how proud people are to be a part of the school, both on the sports field and in the classroom.
