Activities take place mostly after school during first prep or at lunchtimes. Years nine and ten are expected to attend two activities per week, as a rule, with participation being optional for other year groups.
It’s a great chance to get to know staff and other students in a more informal context whilst learning new skills and having fun. Students can enhance their cerebral skills though chess , scrabble, or WarHammer, life skills though cookery , or pursue a sport such as rugby, badminton, tennis or football.
Budding journalists can become involved in the student magazine and The Wycliffe Charitable Organisation provides great scope to participate in fundraising projects in and outside the Wycliffe community. All in all it’s a great enhancement to the Wycliffe experience! |
