Duke of Edinburgh is an exciting and challenging scheme that gives young people the chance to develop critical life skills and broaden their experience.
The award is offered at Bronze, Silver and Gold levels by an experienced and enthusiastic team of staff.
Students can use the diverse range of activities on offer at school to complete the service, skill and physical recreation sections of the award. Away from school there are links and schemes set up with organisations such as Stroud fire Service and the Canal Restoration Project which enable students to interact and get involved with the local community.
Expeditions take place in the Spring and Summer terms in the Cotswolds, Forest of Dean and the Brecon Beacons. |
