The library is situated at the heart of the school and is a haven for independent learning. With access to 32 PCs and a range of other regularly updated material which reflect changes in the curriculum, inform on current affairs and indulge students’ interests, the library offers a conducive atmosphere for private study.
Members of the library supervisory team are always on hand to answer queries, to assist in finding information for students and to teach library research skills.
The adjacent Multi-Media room holds an extensive collection of film, music and audio books which can be borrowed or used in situ on the iMacs and iPods.
Students have the opportunity to become Library Prefects and can also complete their service section of the Duke of Edinburgh Award there. |
