Scholarships are awarded each year for entry into Year 9 and the Sixth Form which ensure a constant influx of gifted performers into the School.
GCSE and A Level courses are well established and music-making is of a high standard with an extensive programme of formal and informal concerts for the various school groups which include the Chapel Choir, Orchestra, Concert Band, Jazz Band and String Group.
Regular performances are given in Gloucester Cathedral and Tewkesbury Abbey, as well as in prestigious venues abroad during tours, which in recent years have been to Venice, Spain, Tuscany, Provence, Prague, Vienna, Germany and the USA. |
