Wycliffe’s sports and physical education programme gives pupils opportunities to develop their talents and skills and to enjoy sport as a member of a team, as individuals or for recreation. The school also recognises and supports gifted sports players.
Specialised coaching programmes, identify clear player pathways which facilitate player development now and for the future.
From our floodlit astroturf hockey pitches and tennis courts to our purpose-built sports centre with two full-size basketball courts and a fully equipped high-tech gym, Wycliffe has the facilities to offer a wide range of indoor and outdoor sports. Sports offered include athletics, basketball, cross-country, fencing, rowing, rugby, hockey, squash, rounders, soccer, tennis, cricket and netball.
New to the College this year is the BTEC National Diploma in Sport, a diverse syllabus which offers the equivalent of up to 2 A levels.
