Years 7 and 8

Pupils begin to prepare for the Common Entrance Examination in French. Although learning is more formal there is still a great emphasis on fun.

Pupils use their knowledge creatively, using ICT, writing poetry and acting out sketches. Those who choose to participate in our trip to Paris will also have the opportunity to try out their language skills in real life situations.

In Year 8, pupils have the opportunity to expand their MFL studies with either Spanish or German.
