GCSE and A Level courses are well established and music-making is of a high standard with an extensive programme of formal and informal concerts for the various school group. These groups include Chapel Choir, Orchestra, Concert Band, Jazz Band and String Group.

Scholarships are awarded each year for entry into Year 9 and the Sixth Form which in turn ensure a constant influx of gifted performers into the School.

Regular performances are given in Gloucester Cathedral and Tewkesbury Abbey, as well as in prestigious venues abroad during tours.  In recent years these have taken place in Venice, Spain, Tuscany, Provence, Prague, Vienna, Germany, USA and most recently, Belgium.
