Greetings to you leavers of 1956! 2006 is our 50th anniversary. How are we going to celebrate this noble event? Can we do this together & bring in friends from years on either side? Why not return to your old school on OW Day on Saturday 6 May and join Michael Graydon & Graham Fawcus at a reunion dinner in the evening? During the day you can see Wycliffe’s fabulous new facilities & you can compare the excellent lunchtime food with the rather less exciting fare upon which we survived. Watch the cricket from the magnificent new sports hall & pavilion. Visit the new library (old assembly hall) on which a recent external report commented as “without doubt the finest I have seen in any school”. Relax in the new atrium (in old School House). And meet your old friends – who may not be in such pristine condition as the new Wycliffe facilities but who will be very pleased to see you!
Put the date in your diary now – both 1956 leavers & friends from years on either side. Invitations will be sent out in March together with all the details of the day. Let us make it a great reunion!
