For the third consecutive year we arranged superb weather for the Old Boys’ Match.

It was a hard fought game, but the Old Boys’ extra experience gave them the edge, which resulted in a 2-1 victory. The school team played well and so it was easy to see how they had achieved some excellent results this season, but the outstanding ball skills of James Barnes and Oliver McIlvenna, gave the visitors the edge. The Old Boys’ defence, with Mark Staincliffe in goal and well marshaled by Jun Chung, gave the opposing forwards very little encouragement.

The Old Boys’ team was: - James Barnes, Luke Bowery, Jun Chung, Sam Hill, Daniel Hornbrook, Thomas King, Thomas Lee, Oliver McIlvenna, Jonty Messer, Alec Morris, Liam Rinn, Andrew Robinson, Mark Staincliffe.
