| The 2004 December Supper (formerly South West Dinner) on Friday 3rd December again took place in Wycliffe Hall after welcome drinks were served in the new Atrium of the ALC. Dr Phil Pritchard (H 1970-1976) managed to persuade some new faces – in particular, rugby players - to return for the occasion but there were, as usual, many loyal OWs who attend year after year.
The food was excellent and was accompanied by plenty of good wine and conversation and while this was being digested the Headmaster was asked to toast the OW Society. In reply Nigel Perris (S 1968-1973) proposed the toast to the School and went down Wycliffe rugby’s memory lane much to the amusement of some and bemusement of others! Roger Berry (SH 1972-1977) drew the speeches together with a toast to ‘Absent Friends’, inviting each table to nominate someone, recalling further memories of good times.
