Data Protection Policy

In May 2008, the Old Wycliffian Society became an integral part of Wycliffe College: as a result of this change, from May 2008 the Society will share the College’s registration with the Information Commissioner, as required by the Data Protection Act 1998. Wycliffe College’s Data Controller is the Finance Director.

The School will not divulge any details of its OW membership to any third party without the consent of the member.  The information held on the Development Office database will only be used by Wycliffe College and The Society in circumstances as jointly agreed by the Head of Wycliffe College and the Chairman of The Society.

Should any member of The Society wish their personal details, as previously voluntarily given, not to be used for purposes as outlined in Wycliffe’s Data Protection Policy, the member should advise the Data Controller in writing.
