Developing desirable

standards of behaviour

Sport can contribute in many ways to the development of desirable standards of behaviour and social skills through the promotion of interaction, co-operation, tolerance, respect of the individual and property, and self-respect.

Most pupils aged 7 and older participate in sport daily, whether that is swimming, PE or in games lessons where pupils learn to play rugby, hockey, netball, football, rounders, tennis or cricket, depending on the time of year and their genders!
