On 9th March 2008 Tom Ball and Tom Eaton took part in a 34 mile race from Devizes to Newbury. The main event, Devizes to Westminster, takes place over the Easter Bank Holiday weekend.

They set off at 0725 on a cool and dry morning, with a slight westerly wind giving them little assistance. Good progress was made, with a steady 6 mph pace maintained.

Their morale remained high throughout the race and an impressive turn of speed was achieved towards the end of the course. They were greeted at the the finish with applause, crossing the line at 1510, some 7 hours and 45 minutes after setting off.

"Team Tom-Tom" did themselves proud and are now well prepared for the Easter weekend.
