Soccer at Wycliffe is a popular Games option in the Spring Term. The school field A and B teams in Years 9 and 10 that play at the weekend as well as three senior XI’s. The 1st XI, 2nd XI and U15 sides play in the ISFA Mercian League which includes some of the top soccer playing Independent Schools in the country.

Coaching for these sides is provided through a partnership with local professional club Cheltenham Town FC. The link is in its second season and has improved the quality of preparation, organisation and performance in the Leagues. Pre-season training runs throughout the Autumn Term for Junior and Senior players in the school.

1st XI Players may have the opportunity to represent the Leagues new select side based on performances for Wycliffe throughout the season.
