The Wycliffe Preparatory School Parents' Association (WPSPA) aims to provide a social focus for parents, children and teachers. It is funded by termly subscription and, therefore, does not have to resort to fund-raising to support its activities. The WPSPA is run by a committee that meets twice each term and always seeks new members.
The committee organises and runs two major events each year: a Family Fun Day in June and a Fireworks Night in November. These are supplemented by a number of smaller events such as a Families' Barn Dance (usually in May), Pub Skittles Evenings, Dinner at the Dogs (greyhound racing) and events for the children. The Association sponsors several school prizes and, annually, considers bids for funding equipment for the general benefit of the school.
If you can give a little of your time towards helping to continue and develop the WPSPA by serving as a committee member, or could help at one of the major events, please contact Sharon Rogers, the Headmaster's PA. She will then be able to put you in touch with a member of the committee.
