Wycliffe Prep School celebrate the Royal Wedding with a jolly good knees-up!

Today at Wycliffe Prep School, the children dressed in red, white and blue to celebrate the upcoming Royal Wedding.

A lot of time and effort from the catering staff had gone into transforming the Dining Hall into a fitting setting for a street party style celebration.

On the menu today was a traditional English Roast Beef followed by a choice of American puddings – a lovely touch to rejoice in the joining of two nationalities.

Some pupils had prepared crowns to wear for the meal, whilst others adorned themselves with anything Union Jack related.

Once lunch had been served it was time to head outside and enjoy the glorious sunshine before an afternoon of learning.

Good luck to Harry and Meghan on their wedding day! The couple will get married on Saturday, May 19 at St George’s Chapel, Windsor Castle.
