Will was educated at Charterhouse, studied Agricultural Sciences at Newcastle University and served in the British Army. His subsequent career in operations, engineering and manufacturing has spanned food, FMCG, clean-tech, energy, construction and hospitality across Europe and the Americas. Somewhere along the way Will gained an MBA from Cranfield and in 2012, set up Maplevine, a specialist consulting firm dedicated to supporting clean-tech businesses in the commercialisation of innovation. Will is the Operations Director for Recycling Technologies a South-west based company that has developed the technology to recycle unrecyclable plastics, diverting residual plastic waste from landfill, export and incineration.
In his spare time Will helps to run Minchinhampton rugby club, a sustainable woodland project and an internet based crowdstorming platform, he lives in Chalford Hill with his wife Janey and children Olivia and Henry who attend the Senior School.
