On Saturday 2nd December twelve Senior School pupils competed in the County Cross Country Championships being held in Newent. These runners had all been selected to represent the South Cotswolds.

There were some outstanding individual performances, with the highlight being Charlie Hosking winning the Junior Boys race to become County Champion. Millie Porter produced a brilliant run to finish in second place in the Inter Girls, with Evie Green only a couple of places behind in fourth. Holly Lovell was the third Wycliffe runner to achieve a top ten finish in this race, as she crossed the line in ninth place.

Tom Bury was fourth in the Senior Boys, which was the longest run of the day with Emma Livingstone finishing fifth in the Senior Girls.

There were other good performances from Maddy Stokes in the Junior Girls and James Hulme in the Junior Boys.

Well done to all runners on their performances.
