Wycliffe College

Cross Country training takes places during Activity Time with runners having structured weekly sessions

All our runners have weekly specialist sessions and a floodlit training area for all year round training which ensures we give every one of our runners excellent support and opportunities to achieve their potential.

Wycliffe was the English Schools Athletics Association Cross Country Cup National Finalists in 2016 and 2017.

As with the team event, individuals are encouraged and supported at District and County trial races.  This has lead to a number of runners competing for the County in regional races and six pupils running in the 2017 English Schools Cross Country Championships.

All pupils take part in the House Cross Country competition, and through regular training and competitions, this is a very strong sport at Wycliffe.
