On Thursday 10th November, the Prep School held their annual service of Remembrance in the College Chapel. We remembered all those who have given their lives in conflict, especially those nineteen Old Wycliffians who died during the Battle of the Somme, and in particular Rex Bird and Len Tregaskis.

We were honoured to welcome four of Rex Bird’s relatives to the service. Pupils read from the work they have done about these two men in their History lessons, and the choir sang this anthem, ‘In Flanders Fields’ words by John McRae, music by Mrs Taylor, Director of Music.
