Wycliffe may have changed over the years, but what has endured is the distinctive Wycliffe heritage, its traditional values, its academic excellence, its progressive outlook and nurturing ethos – all of which brings out the best in each and every pupil. The strength of the College was, and still is its happy atmosphere and ability to embrace a range of backgrounds and capabilities. Its aim is to develop every pupil’s strengths and talents, nurturing their individual potential and celebrating their successes.
By supporting Wycliffe through the gift of a legacy, you will be giving talented young people, with limited means, the opportunity to experience the culture and education which will enrich their lives and those of the community around them. Your generosity will make a significant difference to future generations.
We realise that it is not practical for many to offer Wycliffe financial support during their lifetime and that a bequest may be easier or more appropriate. Naturally your family and nearest and dearest come to mind first when writing a Will, but if you feel you can help then we would be delighted to hear from you.
Leaving a legacy is an opportunity for you to remain involved with Wycliffe beyond your lifetime and is an enduring example of your commitment to the College and its vision for the future. A gift of this kind can be extremely tax efficient and may reduce the overall Inheritance Tax burden on your estate. Should you decide to leave a gift to Wycliffe it is important that you take professional advice from your solicitor or financial adviser on the terms of your Will.
If you would like to discuss any aspect of leaving a legacy or making a donation please contact the Foundation Manager on 01453 820401. Any information you provide will always be kept completely confidential.
