When we talk about human history, we focus on great leaders, mass migration and decisive wars. But how has the Earth itself determined our destiny? How has our planet made us?

As a species we are shaped by our environment. By taking us billions of years into our planet’s past, Professor Lewis Dartnell tells us the ultimate origin story. When we reach the point where history becomes science we see a vast web of connections that underwrites our modern world and helps us face the challenges of the future.

Professor Lewis Dartnell will be joining us at Wycliffe College to discuss some of these themes in more detail.

We hope that you are able to join us for what promises to be a fascinating evening.

The event will be held at Wycliffe College on Monday 25th March at 7:15pm.

Tickets are free, with limited spaces available. To reserve a ticket please click here.

More information on Professor Lewis Dartnell can be found on his website – click here.

With thanks to the Parents’ Association for making this event possible.
