The pace of life at school continues to ‘hot up’ as unbelievably we are approaching half-term. There continues to be so much going on in all areas of school life. As I write this, our entire Year 8 cohort are enjoying a sports tour. Yesterday they visited Wimbledon and today the pupils are visiting the Olympic velodrome and cycling on the actual track upon which Team GB were so successful. Later today they will also be swimming in the Olympic swimming pool. They are also actually playing some matches as well!!

It appears that the staff are having a lovely time enjoying the visit to Wimbledon.

Last Saturday the Year 8 pupils, when they were actually in school, spent the morning producing an outstanding piece of ‘Installation’ art, where apparently, the art completely takes over the room.

The picture shows me and my wife ‘fully installed’ as part of the artwork.

We have also enjoyed great success in sport over the last week. Our under 12 netball team are the newly crowned Severnside Champions and our Year 6 girls are the Dursley League cross-country champions for their age group.
