Year 6 had great fun on Saturday 10th November, when they spent the morning creating a giant sea-turtle, made entirely from recyclable plastic!

Their creation was an entry for a competition run by ‘Authors for Oceans’, which aims to raise awareness of the plastic problem that is affecting marine life all over the world. If the turtle makes it through to the finals, the next mission will be to transport it to London where it will be exhibited and judged.

Mr Holroyde, Mr Stopforth and Mrs Muszasty would like to thank all parents, staff and pupils who donated their recyclable plastic for the project.
