Two weeks since my last blog and so much has happened. We enjoyed an incredibly successful Open Morning last Saturday where I was thrilled to see a record number of visitors on the campus, this was especially pleasing bearing in mind it rained from start to finish.

It was great to see so much interest in our Reception class on the morning and no doubt the news about the impending arrival of Forest School on the campus later this term was a factor in the increased level of interest.

Last week we enjoyed a wonderful array of pupil poetry in Poetry Week. Pupils in many year groups visited the Cheltenham Literacy Festival as part of this.

During Poetry Week, a number of our Year 8 pupils read poems to some of the younger children in the school.

The culmination of the Poetry Week was a fabulous assembly on Thursday where children performed their own poems.

We also experienced our first Lunchtime Concert of the term which included a variety of superb performance ranging from ukulele and voice duets up to a stirring drum solo.
