Wycliffe has a long-standing tradition of sport and being outdoors in all weathers through pleasure or necessity. Whether it has been the thrill of a ball or a track, the pounding of feet over Doverow Hill (aka Killer), being out on Tily Field, the excitement of an Expedition Day or representing Great Britain, there is at least one memory to last your lifetime.
Now, Wycliffe College Foundation, with your help, would like to provide the Preparatory School with a new, oak framed sports pavilion on the perimeter of the sports pitch below the Preparatory School Headmaster’s House. It will be used by pupils, parents and visitors, offering protection from rain or shine from its viewing veranda, serving match teas from the small kitchen, as well as providing much needed toilet facilities. This will replace the small brick structure which has been used for many years and will provide a much needed larger facility.
With a target figure of £100,000 your participation would help us deliver this sporting asset by spring 2017. All donations, regardless of size, are valued by us and those of £100 or more will be recognised on a plaque within the new pavilion.
If you can help with a major gift, there are other naming opportunities available and the Foundation Office will be delighted to discuss with you how your donation can be recognised in perpetuity.
The Wycliffe College Foundation is a charity and any donation made by a UK tax payer can be increased with the addition of Gift Aid. If you are a higher rate tax payer, you will also be able to claim back a percentage of your gift from HM Revenue and Customs thus reducing the cost to you of the donation.
