Wycliffe is committed to providing excellence in learning for all pupils of all levels.
Our results show how we can achieve this and to emphasise this commitment to continue to support the most able pupils we are embarking on a new accreditation this year. We have become a member of the National Association for Gifted Children (NAGC) and are applying for their Gold Star Award.
This development follows our success in securing the Challenge Award from the National Association for Able Children in Education (NACE) in 2007. Wycliffe are the first independent school to secure this marque for excellence in supporting gifted children and are still the only school to achieve the award over all six stages of education. We continue to achieve the standards set by NACE but have decided that it is time for a new challenge hence our application for NAGC stars. NAGC also provides considerable school support by way of staff development opportunities that will help us maintain our high standards so it is also right for the children.
Our GCGSE, A Level, Common Entrance and value-added scores all prove how we can cater for children of all abilities and if you have any questions about these or the Gifted & Talented programmes, please contact the school.
