Zoe is a Year 12 pupil at Wycliffe College. She joined Wycliffe in 2013 as a Year 10 pupil. She is a local day pupil who chose Wycliffe because of its good reputation. Zoe particularly likes the flexible curriculum that allows her to focus her studies on her sport.
She said, “Having the opportunity to attend Wycliffe and being able to change my path of study is very refreshing.” She feels that she is now learning to adapt and cope with new challenges and situations and because of this the balance is just right.
The small class sizes at Wycliffe College has allowed Zoe to always get the required help and support from her teachers. This support has enabled her to strive to be the best that she can be in academia and sport.
Zoe is a member of Collingwood House, which she absolutely loves. She feels there is always a fantastic atmosphere and sense of community around the houses and campus.
Being a keen sports woman, she is constantly making the most out of every opportunity at Wycliffe. “My long term goals are to compete in the Pentathlon at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics and the Eventing at the 2026 Olympics.” The Wycliffe campus itself is perfect to help her Pentathlon training as it has many state-of-the-art facilities. The Sports faculty is even going the extra mile to set up an indoor shooting area.
