Wycliffe’s Riding Club is based at Summerhouse Equestrian Centre and currently has three groups ranging in ability from the complete beginner, to an advanced group who are out competing regularly on their own horses,

The school has a BHSAI qualified instructor and UKCC Level 2 coach who liaises with Summerhouse on a weekly basis to arrange groupings and session planning. There are groups of between two and four riders so that they can receive quality and quantity.

The Wycliffe Equestrian team currently has 25 members and are part of the NSEA (National Schools Equestrian Association) which allows the school to compete in events all over the country. The team is made up of riders with access to their own horses with the youngest member being 8 years old and oldest 18. The team compete in dressage, show jumping and eventing. The junior team recently qualified for the grass roots regional show jumping championships and in 2017 the Senior School team won the Calmsden One Day event.

Additional team-training sessions are run throughout the year and a qualified instructor is in attendance at events the school enters.
