Six Wycliffe Runners Represent County at English Schools Cross Country

Six Wycliffe runners went through a series of races and trials to qualify to run for the County at the English Schools Cross Country.

In an enormous field of runners from all over the UK, there were some excellent performances.

In the Junior Girls, Millie Porter came 75th out of 344 athletes, with Evie Green close behind in 87th place.

Tom Rowland was 217th and beat his brother Harvey Rowland, who was 231st out of 345 starters in the Junior Boys race.

Amy Cook finished 239th out of 345 in the Intermediate Girls and Tom Bury, running in the longest race of the day was 217th out 324.

Well done to all runners on their achievements.
