The PSAT, SAT and ACT testing systems are rarely permitted outside the USA and very few places in the UK are authorised to run them. With increasing numbers wishing to apply for US universities, the school decided in 2013 it was time to put Wycliffe among the elite.

Bobbie Miller BS, Zoology (University of Washington), BA, Spanish (University of Washington, MiT (Western Washington University) – – International University Admissions Coordinator

I have been working in secondary education since 2007 as a Science and Spanish Teacher.  I have had the privilege of teaching in the United States (near Seattle, WA), Spain (in the Community of Madrid), and in the UK (in and around Bristol and Gloucester). Additionally, I ran a bespoke tutoring company in the United States, helping students with exam preparation and University readiness.  During my undergraduate studies, I studied abroad in Cadiz, Spain.  Given my own personal experiences, I can very much appreciate the difficulties of living, working, and studying in a foreign land.  Additionally, I can attest to the immeasurable benefits one gains in learning first-hand about different cultures whether through study, travel, or living abroad. At Wycliffe, I am keenly interested in helping students that want to study abroad, whether that is in the US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Europe, or some other destination. I am currently preparing Wycliffe students for taking the US University Entrance Test (SAT) and offering one-to-one support for non-UK University applications.

Bobbie also runs preparation classes for US university applicants along with the Head of Sixth Form, Matt Archer.

The school has already attracted interest with pupils enrolling with the explicit aim of following the SAT preparation course and has seen pupils gain places at a variety of top American universities, including Ivy League.

Wycliffe is also the host centre for the tests for all of Wales and the south-west of England.
