The vast majority of Wycliffe pupils go on to higher education, studying at range of prestigious universities across the world. Therefore we have a team of careers teachers and the luxury of a dedicated well equipped careers room.

We have designed a programme for the Year 12 of lectures and guest speakers in order to give pupils a comprehensive understanding of higher education.

We organise a number of visits to universities and encourage pupils to plan a structured programme of visits in preparation for their applications. Mr Matt Archer, Head of Sixth Form, coordinates the UCAS process with the help of the Sixth Form Tutors.  For students who wish to apply directly for work or apprenticeships Mrs Miranda Holden, Careers Manager, will offer comprehensive guidance and support.

We also have a dedicated team who co-ordinates our competitive course applications including Oxbridge, Medicine and Veterinary applications.

“Pupils report how much they value the individual guidance received as part of the university application process.”
