Open to Year 6 sportsmen and sportswomen

Current Year 6 pupils are invited to join us for the day on Monday 27 November from 9.30 – 3.00 pm for our annual Sports Open day which will provide a wonderful opportunity for boys and girls to enjoy and participate in a range of sports.  All sessions will be run by qualified coaches and sports specialists and external clubs, such as Gloucester County Hockey, Gloucestershire Cricket, Gloucester Rugby and Cheltenham Town Football.

Sessions include Tennis, Football, Hockey, Squash, Fencing, Rugby, PE/Swimming and Netball.  Wycliffe is a leading UK School for Squash producing many national and international players. It is unusual in that Football is played as a main sport.  This season our U16 Hockey Team are County Champions, Years 7 and 8 boys reached the final in the IAPS South West 6 -aside Regional Finals.

This event is open to anyone who is enthusiastic about sport, wants to try something they might have not tried before, or who is interested in finding out more about our Sports Scholarship programme for entry into Year 7 or Year 9.
