Giving

In September 2009 Wycliffe Foundation (Charity Number 1078286) was set up with its own Board of Trustees to oversee the work of the Development Office.

The Foundation exists to promote and support Wycliffe as a school of choice by facilitating the engagement of the alumni, parents and Friends of Wycliffe with the College and each other. We have built a philanthropic culture within this community and we operate transparently. If you would like to discuss any aspect of making a donation,  please contact The Development Office on +44 (0) 1453 820439 development@wycliffe.co.uk

The Gift of Time | Volunteering

Your time and expertise can be used to benefit Wycliffe, our pupils and staff in a number of valuable ways and across a variety of roles.

Volunteering can be a rewarding and enjoyable experience that may help you make new professional and personal connections. If you think you can donate time to us please contact our dedicated and experienced Alumni team at The Wycliffian Society

All our volunteers’ time contributions are recorded and as a thank you, we warmly welcome you as a ‘Friend of Wycliffe’.

In 2020, a total of 26 OWs, as well as current parents and local businesses, offered their time and experience to assist our pupils at Wycliffe. From small group talks to Sixth Form pupils, the Aspire Programme to Virtual Mock Interviews for Year 11 pupils.

Thank you for your sharing your experience and time.

The Gift of Giving | Donating

By donating to The Foundation you will be joining thousands of fellow alumni and friends who are already having a collective impact on the future of Wycliffe.

Gifts from alumni and friends are transforming young lives through improving Wycliffe’s resources and buildings and giving the next generation of pupils the opportunity to study at Wycliffe no matter what their circumstances.

The Gift of Endowing | Legacy

Leaving a legacy is an opportunity for you to remain involved with Wycliffe beyond your lifetime and is an enduring example of your commitment to the College and its vision for the future.  A gift of this kind can be extremely tax efficient and may reduce the overall Inheritance Tax burden on your estate.  Should you decide to leave a gift to Wycliffe it is important that you take professional advice from your solicitor or financial adviser on the terms of your Will.

We realise that it is not practical for many to offer Wycliffe financial support during their lifetime and that a bequest may be easier or more appropriate.  Naturally your family and nearest and dearest come to mind first when writing a Will, but if you feel you can help then we would be delighted to hear from you.

If you would like to discuss any aspect of leaving a legacy or making a donation please contact the Foundation Office on
+44 (0) 1453 820439 or development@wycliffe.co.uk.
Any information you provide will always be kept completely confidential.
