Hon OW Phil Hale (1980 – 2010) cycles for prostate cancer

OW in Charity: Hon OW Phil Hale who taught at the school from 1980 – 2010, and now jointly runs the OW Golf Society, is undertaking the Prostate Cancer UK Cycle the Month challenge aiming to cycle 200 miles in August. Phil was diagnosed with prostate cancer and has been undergoing treatment for the last 10 months. At last he has a date for a prostatectomy and in preparation for the op he wants to improve his fitness and, at the same time, raise money for this very worthwhile charity.
