We have received the sad news from Peter’s son, Jim, that Peter Harvey passed away on 26th March 2021, aged 92 years. Our deepest sympathy and condolences are with the family at this sad time.
TWS spoke with Peter in early February 2021. He let us know that he was living in the countryside so couldn’t complain about life and the current situation. He missed playing golf so had set up his own mini pitch and put to get himself going. He and his wife had received their first vaccines and were feeling well.
Peter was in Windrush for a time, joining Wycliffe at the age of 8 years old, and then went to Lampeter when the school decamped during World War II. He was Captain of Rugby and enjoyed and played all the sports at school and then kept into sports throughout his life. He was still in touch with OW John Morgan (SH 1945).
