Wycliffe Preparatory School takes pupils from the age of two years through to 13 years, preparing them for Senior School whilst giving them the best possible start to their academic career. Pre-Prep refers to children in Nursery to Year 2, ages two to seven years.
We looked at several schools in the area but it was the exceptional level of nurturing and care in the Early Years setting that really appealed to us.
The most important thing for us is that Wycliffe is inclusive – it is not elitist – every pupil is offered the same opportunities.
We believe that making the right start on your child’s educational journey is extremely important in building solid foundations for the future. All children should have a love of learning from an early age; this is a critical and essential life skill. We believe that all children should enjoy their school days by feeling valued from the start, by feeling safe to take risks in their learning and by being allowed to flourish in a calm and stimulating environment. This is why in our Pre-Prep, whether as a two year old in Nursery or a five year old in the Reception class, we believe children should be happy, engaged in their learning and suitably challenged.
Our professional and qualified staff work hard to create a warm, welcoming, and inspiring atmosphere to allow the children to feel safe and comfortable in their learning. Our aim is for each child to have the opportunity to achieve his or her potential in all areas of school life, academically, socially, creatively and physically through a well-established and stimulating programme of study.
Please come and see for yourself our happy children, meet our friendly staff and ask us those questions that are important to you. To organise a visit please contact Briony Armstrong on 01453 820470 or by email to firstname.lastname@example.org . I would love to have the opportunity to share our lovely school with you.
Having swimming every week in Pre-Prep is fantastic.
