Wycliffe Exam Results and our 2019 Leavers’ Destinations

GCSE Results 2019

In the first year of the new-style GCSEs, graded 9-1, more than 93% of results were Grade 4 or above (the new pass standard) and 80% were a ‘strong’ pass (9-5). For this year group, at the outset of their studies only just over 50% were predicted to achieve that Grade – thus showing our excellent value-added performance, which is one of the areas in which we excel.

A Level Results 2019

An 100% pass rate for both A Levels and BTECs with 63% of A Level Grades at A* to B – the culmination of dedication and hard work by pupil and staff.

Yr 13 Leavers’ Higher Education Destinations

From the 76 Year 13 leavers in 2019, there is a wide-ranging mix of destinations in terms of courses, institutions and countries: including Mechanical Engineering (UCL) and Medicine (Imperial); and Architecture, Animal Behaviour, Agriculture, Hospitality Management, Nursing, Criminology, Japanese and Urban Planning and others pursuing Degree Apprenticeships (e.g., in Finance or in Real Estate).

Pupils report how much they value the individual guidance received as part of the university application process.
