The Birmingham Panthers Netball Franchise nurtures and develops talented netball players in a professional environment

Wycliffe College is a host venue for one of three Player Development Programmes (PDP) in the Birmingham Panthers franchise region. Lead by UKCC Level 3 Assistant Coach Jen Usher and Team Manager Janey Garrard, we have a strong history of successful athletes progressing into the franchise and England pathway.

The PDP provides a high-performance training environment for players who have not made the elite U19/U17 squads yet show potential to progress. Recognised as part of the England Netball Pathway it also provides opportunity for talented U15 players to join that could be selected to the U15 Severn Stars School Games squad.

Training for successful athletes is currently 3hrs on a Monday night, which includes Strength and Conditioning as well as Technical training.
