For Day pupils, there are two options for overnight Boarding to support family and school commitments.

Looking for a flexible boarding option that fits around your family’s schedule? Our Regular Flexi-Boarding offers the perfect balance — giving your child a guaranteed bed in the same Boarding House on selected nights each week, all term long.
Whether it’s two nights or up to four or more, you choose the evenings that work best for your family. Need Mondays and Thursdays? No problem. Prefer a mid-week stay? That’s fine too. Your child will always return to the same House — creating a consistent and comforting boarding experience.
If you decide to opt for the four-night stay then that bed space becomes exclusively theirs — no sharing, no switching.
For those parents wanting more flexibility and choose our one-night stay per week, or occasional boarding, then your child will be based in our Day House and allocated a bed space in one of our Boarding Houses. This may change from week to week.
Flexi-Boarding is booked in advance each term, making planning simple and stress-free. It’s a great way for day pupils to enjoy the social and academic benefits of boarding life, with the flexibility to stay connected to home.
It is good to know that a flexi-boarding commitment is for a fixed number of nights, however these do not need to be consecutive nights, and you can renew and change your flexi-boarding options each term.
Should you wish to change from flexi-boarding to a day pupil or full boarding pupil, we require a full term’s notice.

In addition to Flexi-Boarding, Wycliffe also offers Occasional Boarding for those parents wishing to book an overnight stay on an ad hoc basis. With Occasional Boarding, you should note that your child will be based in our Day House and allocated a bed space in a Boarding House for their overnight stay. We do not guarantee that the same Boarding House will be available on each Occasional Boarding night booked.

Weekends are great fun and, though Boarders are allowed out, there tends to be an inflow of Day pupils staying for special activities rather than a general exodus.
