Up to 70 Day and Boarding boys would say Robinson has the best views of the Cricket on the sports field and a strong House spirit. It is the biggest boys’ House and here friendships for life are made.

Having grown up locally, I undertook a Degree in Drama at the University of Exeter before starting my career in Education in 2016. I then completed my teacher training at the University of Warwick before joining Wycliffe College in 2019 as a Teacher of Drama and tutor in Robinson. After a year at the School, I moved across to Haywardsfield spending three years as Resident Assistant Housemaster. In 2023, I returned to Robinson as Housemaster. I am hugely proud to lead this energetic and collaborative House.
I live on-site with my wife, Annabel, who is a Matron in Loosely, and a plethora of animals, most notably our two dogs: Grouse (a Labrador) and Percy (a Border Terrier). I love to be outdoors, spending much of my free time cycling. I also continue to nurture my interest in the arts and history with regular visits to local and national theatres, alongside visits to as many National Trust properties as I can squeeze in.
How long have you been at Wycliffe?
Since September 2019.
What do you teach?
Drama.
What are you looking to implement in-House this year?
One of my focus points for this year is updating House facilities and Common Room spaces, working closely with pupils across the House to ensure that the facilities operate as best as possible for them. This process has already started with a re-modelled entrance hall alongside updates to the Lower School Dorms and House Computer Room.
Robinson is a Boarding House full of energy and enthusiasm. It is a House where you will form firm and lasting friendships and where you will find the support and encouragement to achieve your potential.
We have also been working hard to recognise the positive actions undertaken by the members of the House each day, implementing a rewards system to recognise excellent contributions.
