The extra-curricular provision at Wycliffe is wide-reaching and all-encompassing – with something for everyone. Whether your son or daughter likes to build robots, run cross-country, sing, sew, debate or read, there is something for them to enjoy. In addition, they will be encouraged to try new activities to take them out of their comfort zone!

Pupils gain so much incidental knowledge through our trips and Expedition Days. Recent expeditions include Hooke Court Farm Experience, York, Cotswold Water Park, camping, Cheltenham Festivals and much more. Trips with their year group form an important part of the curriculum for each pupil – to explore and to learn independence, respect, resilience and have fun!
In addition to the yearly trips, your son or daughter will take part in the Expedition Days in Middle Prep and Upper Prep School (Years 3 to 8). Museums, walks across the Malverns and Art Exhibitions are just some of the trips your child will get to go on.
Every Thursday afternoon, Years 3 to 8 go off-timetable to enjoy an activity of their choice, which they can change every term – Dance, Pivot Animation, Eco-Warriors, Art, Fencing, Chess, Knitting, Embroidery, Cart Engineering, Debate Club, Gardening, Netball … and many more!
Through our extra-curricular programme to the broad academic curriculum, the Prep School encourages independence and inspires creativity. We ensure every child is well-supported, happy and individuality is promoted. Discover in more detail what we offer for your child at Wycliffe Prep School.
Children and parents enjoy their experience of the school as well as getting second to none opportunities in sport, music and drama…
Masses of other activities after school and day pupils can go home…or stay later for prep and activities.

Dear Rendcomb Families,
We are deeply saddened by the news that Rendcomb will close at the end of the academic year. Our thoughts are with all the pupils, families, staff and alumni of Rendcomb college at such a difficult time.
We are honoured to have been invited to work in partnership with Rendcomb in supporting families and pupils as you consider your next steps. We understand the care, sensitivity, clarity and respect you need during this transition and the Wycliffe community will work in collaboration and compassion with each individual family.
