On Wednesday 22nd Russell Cook, our minibus driver who looks after our day pupils on the Stroud Valley route, was invited to 10 Downing Street to meet with the Prime Minister in honour of his voluntary work as a Community Champion.
Russell supported the NHS during the pandemic, and he continues to do so as a Community First Responder for the South Western Ambulance Service.
During his time at Downing Street, Russell had the opportunity to shake hands and have a brief chat with the PM before having a tour and going across to parliament – unfortunately there were no police outriders for them!
We are incredibly proud of Russell and the work he continues to do; we are truly lucky to have him as part of our wonderful Wycliffe Team.
