Teacher Spotlight , Mr Wilburn – Head Coach of Basketball
On Wednesday, 26th April, The University of Bath held its annual Blues Awards to celebrate the sporting achievements of over a hundred student-athletes.
The Ivor Powell Award for Excellence in Coaching recognises the impact of coaches based on the University campus who have significantly contributed to the development of the student sport.
An exceptionally high calibre of winners is maintained as the award is only presented when suitable candidates are available. We are delighted to announce that Mr Wilburn won this award.
It is intended to recognise excellence in a coach, represented by Ivor Powell, including passion, integrity, and total commitment to University sport.
A huge congratulation to Mr Wilburn.
