Simon studied Estate Management at Reading University following which he joined a surveying practice in Birmingham. In 1981, Simon qualified as a Chartered Surveyor, and is still working in the same area of business over 37 years later. Now working as a Partner at International property consultancy Cushman & Wakefield, he has specific responsibility for the industrial and logistics sector in the UK. He has also been responsible for the EMEA region which involved a substantial amount of international travel to the EMEA region, the USA and Asia. He has spoken at a number of conferences and seminars in all three geographies and also carries out Expert Witness work on behalf of clients. His principal role as a Trustee is with regard to maximising the use of Wycliffe’s asset base.
Outside work, Simon married Stephanie Cartwright (OW) in 1984 and they have two children. At Wycliffe, Simon was involved in the musical aspects of the school, playing the clarinet and also rowing. Simon helped organise the Midlands gatherings of the OW Society for a number of years at a variety of venues, and has also been a Governor of a local Middle School in Worcestershire.

Robin (OW – Springfield 1969-1974) became a Trustee of the Wycliffe Council in early 2008, is Chairman of Trustees and member of the Wycliffe Foundation.
Richard (OW 1977-1989) spent his childhood in Gloucestershire and started his Wycliffe education in Lower Prep.
Simon is a solicitor specialising in employment law.
Caroline graduated from Aberdeen University with an MA in Geography with Economics.
Lynn is a retired Prep School Headteacher. She graduated from the University of London with a degree in Biological Sciences and a PGCE in Science Education.
Will was educated at Charterhouse, studied Agricultural Sciences at Newcastle University and served in the British Army.
Lucy was educated at Charlton Park, Cheltenham and went to Wycliffe for 6th form.
Alison (OW, 1994-2011) started her Wycliffe education in the Nursery, and went on to finish at Sixth Form.
Susie was educated at Cheltenham Ladies College, going on to study engineering at Cambridge University specialising in manufacturing engineering for her Masters degree.
Greg (OW, 2006-2011) attended Wycliffe and went on to study Law with Hispanic Law at University College London, spending his third year at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid.
Educated at Birkenhead School and Oxford University (LMH), Graeme has been involved in teaching since 1990.
Andrea was educated at Saint Mary’s Covent and then King’s School, Worcester before going on to study Geography and Biology at Exeter University.
James has enjoyed a career as a Chartered Building Surveyor working on the design, repair and maintenance of many different types of property with a particular emphasis on School facilities and Historic Buildings.
