Join us at our Prep Military Families Open Morning on Saturday 29th June 2024

We have a long tradition of supporting the families and children of those serving in the British Armed Forces. A third of our boarders are from Forces Families and many start in the Prep School from Year 3 (our youngest boarders) and stay with us right up to Year 13 in the Senior School.

During our Military Families Open Morning, you will have the chance to meet with some of our forces parents and ask them questions about Wycliffe that only a parent can answer, chat to our House Parents about the home from home environment we create in our boarding houses and tour the school campus.

Benefits of Choosing Wycliffe for Forces Families

  • At Wycliffe, Service Families who are eligible for the Continuity of Education Allowance (CEA) pay only 10% of the school fees throughout your child’s entire schooling from Years 3 – 13 (age 7 -18)
  • The Continuity of Education Allowance (CEA) includes all trips, residentials and activities in school
  • Boarding is a co-educational experience with separate houses for girls and boys to sleep
  • Our Sport is inclusive and all pupils play sport regularly each week. For those that excel in Sport there is an Elite Athletes’ Programme and access to county and regional clubs
  • Outstanding facilities onsite; swimming pool; Astro-turfs at both Prep and Senior campuses; boathouse within 5 miles of campus; theatre studios and first-class boarding houses.

Lots of Forces Boarders and a few from abroad…Weekends great fun and, though Boarders are allowed out, there tends to be an inflow of Day pupils staying for special activities rather than a general exodus.
