Looking for schools in a new area?

Re-locating to a new area and moving to the countryside is something many people dream of, and we can see why. With a greater need for open green space and nature; more and more people are taking the opportunity to make the move and re-locate to areas such as Gloucestershire and the Cotswolds.

While re-locating your family can be a positive change and full of excitement, it can also be stressful for the whole family especially children as depending on where you are relocating to, it may mean saying goodbye to their school and the friends they have made. Choosing the right school that offers support for your child can make this transition easier though. Located in the Gloucestershire countryside in Stroud, Wycliffe is a co-ed independent school that offers day and boarding places for children aged 3-19. Offering excellent pastoral care, an individualised learning approach and a wide range of extra-curricular activities, discover how our approach could suit your family life.

Individual student action plans

Wycliffe aims to help every pupil succeed in a number of ways, from specialist teachers to keeping class sizes small to providing a network of support to ensure pupils thrive no matter what direction they choose to go in. Students are given individual action plans, and their progress is monitored from the time they join the school up until the very end point. When a pupil leaves, Wycliffe ensure they have had every opportunity to reach their full potential, and given them the right support for their future endeavours.

Extra Curricular Activities Outside the Classroom

The Wycliffe experience is about more than what happens in the classroom. We aim to nurture pupils mind, body and soul through our extensive extra-curricular programme. If your child is moving school, our extra-curricular activities are a great opportunity for pupils to meet new friends and try new activities they may never have tried or even considered before with over 60 activities per week on offer, every week of the year. From activities such as cookery classes, performing arts, bee-keeping, a huge range of sports, to exploring the Cotswolds as part of our active and fulfilling outdoor programme.
